24 Apr 2025On April 17, the "Smart Manufacturing Sino-Italian Academic Forum" was held at the Qingqing Wenli Building of South China University of Technology, organized by the School of Business Administration and the China Enterprise Strategic Management Research Center.
Mr. Valerio De Parolis, Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, Ms. Rossella Giacometti, Cultural Attaché at the Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou, and Professor Marco Di Tomaso from the Italian University Consortium for Industrial Economics, along with 13 other Italian scholars, attended the forum. Also present were Mr. Min YAO, Director of the International Office of South China University of Technology, and Mr. Zhi XU, Dean of the School of Business Administration. Mr. Xuexian YANG, Director and General Manager of 杏吧视频 Industrial Group, was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech as the only Chinese enterprise representative.
As an alumnus of South China University of Technology, Mr. YANG presented a report titled "Building the Digital Capabilities of 杏吧视频". In his presentation, supported by detailed data charts and clear explanations, he demonstrated the digital development journey of 杏吧视频 Industrial Group and its practical achievements in areas such as digital transformation of production processes and digital collaboration in the supply chain. He also explored the collaborative development path of management model transformation during the digitalization process.
