Recently, DLT’s new FoaMax 3-layer foam ceramic tunnel kiln was successfully put in operation at Wulian Hongbang Resource Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. in Shandong. This marks the sixth-generation product developed by DLT for the foam ceramic industry.

The kiln measures 449.4 m in length with a designed output of 480 m³ of fired bodies per day, setting new records in both size and capacity for similar tunnel kilns in the industry. Finished product yield exceeds 99%.

The kiln combines proven technologies from both tunnel kilns and shuttle kilns globally, along with years of practical experience. With optimized temperature distribution, a new firing process, and innovative structural design, it fully meets the demands of continuous, large-scale production of foam ceramics. The kiln mainly produces boards sized 3000 × 1800 × 100 mm, with gas consumption of ≤80 m³ natural gas per m³ of product. This provides Hongbang Technology more productivity with stronger capacity, lower costs, and higher efficiency.

DLT’s sixth-generation foam ceramic tunnel kilns have been running stably at Jiangxi Sinoma and Shandong Hongbang Technology. Other projects such as Jianheng Green Materials in Inner Mongolia and Shanghai in Shandong are also close to the final countdown to light-up soon.
