28 Jun 2025On June 25, the kiln at Twyford Côte d'Ivoire Ceramic Factory was successfully ignited, marking the official start of production.
As Twyford International's 7th building ceramics project in Africa, the Côte d'Ivoire Ceramic Factory covers 50 hectares and offers strong potential for expansion with multiple modern ceramic production lines. The first phase includes one high-standard production line with a designed daily capacity of 40,000 m². The product range includes ceramic wall tiles, wear-resistant floor tiles, and color glazed tiles, fully catering to the diverse needs of Côte d'Ivoire and the wider West African market.
Since the start of construction, Twyford has created hundreds of local jobs and effectively driven the development of the regional building materials industry chain, contributing to steady economic growth and improved livelihoods in the Abidjan-Alépé area.
